about

My lyrics were inspired by my experience of awakening to and breaking the code of "The Matrix" control system of consciousness embedded in industrial-civilized society and reconnecting with natural power through ceremony. The song is in honor of John Trudell, who was a very influential teacher in my life. As for climate/social justice, I believe it's very important for us to remember how to live with respect and in relation with Mother Earth. This is a main responsibility of human beings. When we are given the teachings with proper role models and ceremony, such as rights of passage, this is a natural process. I work with the youth because I look to them as the future leaders with the imagination and innate wisdom to create solutions.
